Our client is an award-winning product development and engineering business that designs innovative hardware and software solutions used across global entertainment, technology and visual experiences. Their technology supports high-profile installations, live productions and major events worldwide, creating unique opportunities for engineers who want to see the real-world impact of their work.

As part of continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join their collaborative development team. This is a highly influential position where you'll work closely with software engineers, QA specialists and technical stakeholders to improve development workflows, automate infrastructure and drive DevOps best practice across the organisation.

  • Take ownership of build and CI/CD infrastructure, helping development teams work faster and more efficiently.
  • Improve automation, resilience and scalability through Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps practices.
  • Design, maintain and optimise build systems, pipelines and deployment tooling.
  • Develop monitoring, reporting and performance metrics that provide valuable engineering insights.
  • Contribute to long-term DevOps strategy and help shape future technology decisions as the business continues to grow.
  • Develop custom tooling and workflow enhancements using Python, Java and related technologies.
  • Work across diverse software environments including desktop, embedded and mobile development projects.

Commercial experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering or Software Engineering environment is required. Strong Python development skills and experience building automation tools are essential. Experience working with Java and configuration management tools is also necessary. Additionally, experience supporting build systems and development infrastructure within Windows environments, C++ Embedded software build environments, and visual technology, media, entertainment or event technology projects is beneficial.
