The Opportunity

Our client is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to take a leading role in defining system behaviour and architecture for a sophisticated product platform. Working closely with engineering and project teams, you\’ll guide technical decisions, manage risk, and ensure system-level performance.

Perfect for an experienced engineer ready to step into a more strategic, cross‑functional role.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own and define key system functionality, including layout, safety, and BOM.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and architecture plans.
• Support design reviews, risk assessments, and cross-functional delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive quality and resolve technical issues.

What You’ll Bring

Essentials

• Experience in complex system or instrumentation design.
• Experience across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Skilled in technical documentation, PLM, and change control.
• Strong communicator in technical English.

Desirables

• Background in motion systems, optics, robotics, or similar technologies.
• Experience in high-precision tools or environments (e.g. advanced manufacturing).

Education

Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
