This position offers the chance to influence products throughout their entire lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to volume production and continuous improvement. You'll have the opportunity to:
- Design and develop electronic hardware for innovative connected products.
- Create solutions that are ready for manufacture and scalable production.
- Develop and maintain embedded software that supports product performance and reliability.
- Build and improve test systems, test rigs, and validation processes.
- Work closely with contract electronics manufacturers (CEMs) to ensure smooth production and high-quality output.
- Drive design improvements, cost optimisation, and manufacturability initiatives.
- Take ownership of technical challenges and see your work move from prototype to thousands of units in the field.
- Collaborate across engineering, operations, and commercial teams in a growing business where your contribution will be highly visible.
About You
You will be someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and is excited by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing organisation. You may bring experience in:
- Full product lifecycle electronics engineering.
- Electronic hardware design and development.
- Design for Manufacture (DfM) and Design for Test (DfT).
- Embedded software development.
- Developing test equipment, validation systems, or automated test rigs.
- Working directly with manufacturing partners and managing production relationships.
- Supporting products through prototype, pilot, and volume production stages.
- Delivering products in environments producing 5,000+ units per year or similar scale.
Most importantly, you'll be a practical problem-solver who combines strong technical expertise with a hands-on approach and a genuine enthusiasm for developing great products.
