Our client is a growing advanced technology organisation looking for someone to lead, develop and support a high-performing mechanical engineering team. This is a brilliant opportunity to take ownership of mechanical engineering capability across complex product development.
You’ll help shape team direction, improve tools and processes, support career development, and work closely with senior technical leaders to deliver high-quality engineering outcomes. You’ll also get involved in areas such as mechanical design best practice, product lifecycle management, external partner collaboration, and continuous improvement across people, systems and delivery.
- Strong experience in mechanical engineering leadership or team management
- A hands-on mechanical design background
- Experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks
- An interest in mentoring, coaching and building team capability
- Experience with FEA, DFM, GD&T, project delivery, NPI or external suppliers would be a bonus, but our client is open to transferable experience.
Salary is expected to be in the region of £65,000–£85,000, alongside benefits including annual leave, pension contribution, private healthcare, death in service and a share scheme. This role is based in Oxfordshire, with hybrid flexibility available after an initial onboarding period.
