They’re looking for a Principal Ultrafast Laser Specialist to lead the design and development of next-generation short pulse laser systems Why This Role is Great You’ll get to: Shape the design of advanced ultrafast laser systems. Lead technical decisions across performance, reliability and manufacturability. Work hands-on with CPA/OPCPA, pulse shaping, diagnostics, stretchers and compressors. Collaborate with scientists, optical engineers and mechanical engineers. Mentor others as the team grows. Help turn complex lab-based technology into robust, deployable products. About You You’ll likely bring experience in short pulse lasers, ultrafast optics, nonlinear optics or advanced photonics. A PhD or equivalent experience would be valuable, but practical expertise and technical leadership matter most. Experience with laser diagnostics, broadband amplification, complex optical systems, modelling, MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW or optical design tools would be a bonus.
