Responsibilities
- Lead with impact – play a pivotal role in designing and delivering new features from concept to completion, helping to shape product direction.
- Variety every day – move seamlessly between backend APIs, frontend UI, databases, and infrastructure challenges.
- Modern, diverse tech stack – work with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Ruby on Rails, Vue.js, TypeScript, Angular, AWS Lambdas (Python), GitHub, Heroku, and CI/CD tools.
- Room to experiment – explore new frameworks, languages, and cloud services, with dedicated resources for courses, certifications, and tech books.
- Build for scale – engineer systems that handle high volumes of data and requests, optimising for performance and integration with third-party services.
- Hybrid flexibility – work remotely with just two in-office days a month for deeper collaboration and team connection.
About You
- Have professional experience in full-stack development, with a strong grasp of object-oriented programming (Java, C#, C++, Ruby, or similar).
- Enjoy working across back-end, front-end, and databases, with bonus points for exposure to AWS, CI/CD, and cloud-native tools.
- Write clean, maintainable code and believe in testing and peer review as part of delivering quality.
- Love learning and aren’t afraid to suggest new ideas or approaches.
