Ready to Build Technology That’s Years Ahead of the Curve? Interested in relocating to the US with visa and relocation fully supported? Want to work on some of the most advanced FPGA and real-time control systems being developed anywhere in the world?
Our client is hiring experienced FPGA engineers from across the UK and Europe to join a highly advanced engineering team working on next-generation quantum computing technology. This is an opportunity to step into a genuinely cutting-edge environment where hardware, software, physics, and real-time systems all come together. The work is complex, fast-moving, and deeply technical — focused on building ultra-low latency FPGA platforms capable of controlling quantum systems with extreme precision.
You won’t be maintaining legacy products or making incremental improvements. You’ll be helping develop entirely new computing architectures that could fundamentally change industries ranging from AI and cryptography to scientific research and optimisation.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving difficult technical problems and want to work closer to the frontier of what modern hardware systems can achieve. You’ll be designing and optimising advanced FPGA systems used for high-speed control, precision timing, signal generation, and real-time data processing — all within an environment where performance and accuracy genuinely matter.
The technology stack includes modern Xilinx RFSoC platforms, SystemVerilog, high-speed interfaces, DSP, and complex real-time architectures operating with microsecond-level timing constraints. You’ll work alongside an exceptional group of engineers, physicists, and researchers, with the freedom to contribute ideas, influence designs, and tackle problems very few companies in the world are working on.
