The Learning Designer & Enablement Manager drives performance by building knowledge and closing the gap between knowing and doing. This role blends strategic learning design with practical onâtheâjob enablement to ensure that learning is not only understood, but able to be immediately applied in realâworld contexts with clients and colleagues. They architect endâtoâend learning journeys that integrate skill development, highâquality content, and tool proficiency â equipping teams to execute on key business propositions and strategic priorities.
They merge the principles of learning science with handsâon enablement, creating experiences, playbooks, job aids, videos, and microâlearning content that directly support and enable performance. Every learning asset is designed with a single intent: helping people achieve mastery and measurable results in their dayâtoâday work. In essence, this role combines instructional design, platform and content ownership, and performance enablement â turning capability building into business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Program Management: Own and maintain the global internal enablement calendar, ensuring alignment with the Portfolio Transformation roadmap and critical business milestones. Partner with crossâfunctional leaders to sequence, prioritize, and execute global initiatives for each of our four regions, preventing change fatigue and maximizing adoption.
- Global Platform Implementation & Experience: Lead the endâtoâend rollout of a new global learning platform, serving as the bridge between technical implementation and human experience. Drive engagement and retention through community features, social learning, and personalized user journeys; treat the platform as a product that requires ongoing optimization, not a oneâtime launch.
- Accreditation Program Design & Curation: Design and scale a flagship accreditation program that moves beyond checkbox learning. This program requires learners to demonstrate applied proficiency through evidenceâbased tasks and realâworld validation. Design and own the process of creation (writing/developing), curation (licensing/partnering), and phased rollâout of highâquality content across six critical pillars.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- 5+ years of experience within a research, evidenceâbased consultancy, or marketing agency environment. You understand the pace, the language, and the commercial pressures and realities of professional services as well as the role of research, insights, and evidence in bestâinâclass strategy.
- Marketing fundamentals: You have a grasp of marketing fundamentals and the disciplines of brand strategy, communication and creative, innovation, and/or experience.
- A Consultant, not just an Executor: You diagnose root causes before prescribing solutions. You listen for what is impeding performance and design interventions that address the system, not just the symptom.
- Culturally adaptable: You thrive in global, matrixed environments and can toggle between local nuance and global consistency.
- Propositional Passion: You are genuinely excited by the Human8 purpose and proposition. You see yourself as an internal ambassador, capable of inspiring others through the work.
- Learning Experience Design: You know that adults learn by doing. You may already have some proficiency in blending microâlearning, social collaboration, and onâtheâjob application (70â20â10 model), and understand how learning and development needs to connect directly with businessâcritical tasks.
- Platform Literacy: You may already have some experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or Learning Experience Platforms (LXP). You know how to drive adoption metrics beyond login rates.
- Content Curation: You have a sense of when to build vs. buy, and are resourceful in identifying where to locate the best materials. You have a keen editorial eye and can distill complex commercial topics into simple, sticky assets.
