Do you see yourself in a role where you help individuals and organisations solve complex psychological challenges – both on an individual and team level? Then the position as Senior Consultant at Human House may be for you. We are seeking experienced business psychologists to join our UK team.
Who are we? Human House is an international, multidisciplinary consultancy within leadership and occupational safety and health, with a supportive and engaged team dedicated to making a difference for our clients. We operate from offices in both England and Denmark, working with a broad range of areas related to leadership and workplace environment.
Consultancy delivery
- Design and deliver consultancy projects independently and to a high professional standard – both in-person and virtually.
- Consult with clients to develop and implement solutions focused on resilience, stress, mental health and wellbeing.
- Design and facilitate team development activities based on The Myers-Briggs Company’s assessment tools.
- Create and run leadership development programmes.
- Lead workshops for managers on topics such as self-awareness, communication, change, conflict, and leadership.
- Provide coaching sessions for managers and leaders at all organisational levels.
- Conduct follow-up action planning and personal development planning sessions.
- Work across all organisational levels, including senior management, within various aspects of talent management and development.
Project management
- Manage projects independently and effectively, ensuring they are delivered profitably, to a high standard of quality, and with strong client relationships.
- Work closely with our Operations team to secure the appropriate internal and associate resources to provide excellent service to our clients.
- Follow both Human House’s and the client’s project management processes, including regular and timely reporting, accurate invoicing, thorough post-delivery reviews, and the integration of client feedback for continuous improvement.
Business Development
- Proactively drive the sales process by identifying prospects, following up on leads, managing calls, and preparing proposals and contracts.
- Demonstrate expertise and professionalism in interactions with senior clients, clearly communicating the value Human House delivers.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and challenges.
- Identify upselling opportunities for both you and your colleagues by recognising additional client needs.
- Follow and promote internal business development processes.
- Contribute to marketing by supporting articles, case studies, webinars and seminars, and by representing Human House at conferences.
Our thoughts on a new colleague
- Holds a Master’s qualification in psychology or equivalent.
- Has in-depth business development experience and a proven track record in business psychology/OD consulting.
- Is comfortable designing and delivering consultancy solutions with minimal supervision.
- Is experienced with psychometric tools and passionate about team and leadership development.
- Is proactive, self-driven and professional in interactions with senior level client contracts.
- Is able and willing to travel within the UK and Europe as required (driving license needed).
Main terms and conditions
- A full-time position (37.5 hours per week; flexibility possible).
- 25 days paid holiday (increasing to 30 with long service) plus up to five days unpaid leave per annum.
