We are working with a well-established UK lifting solutions business that designs, supplies and supports overhead crane systems for a wide range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Sales Engineer to develop and manage customer relationships across the Midlands and South East, with some UK-wide travel as required.
This is a consultative, solutions-led sales role, well suited to someone with an engineering background who enjoys working closely with customers to solve lifting and material handling challenges.
- Selling overhead crane systems and associated lifting solutions into a broad mix of industrial environments
- Liaising with internal engineering, project and service teams to ensure smooth delivery from enquiry through to installation
- Attending site visits, surveys and customer meetings across your territory
- Some UK-wide travel will be required depending on projects and customer needs
- Experience in technical or engineering-led sales, ideally within cranes, lifting equipment or capital equipment
- Strong understanding of mechanical or electrical engineering principles
- Confident communicator who can build long-term relationships at all levels
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
- Full UK driving licence
Basic salary of £40,000 to £60,000 depending on experience. Quarterly bonus scheme with realistic earnings of £10,000 to £15,000 per year. Polestar electric company car. Long-term career progression within a growing business.
