Human Engineering is speaking with experienced Crane Engineers who would be interested in current and upcoming opportunities across UK port environments. We are looking for engineers with experience working on port cranes, harbour cranes, ship-to-shore cranes, RTGs, RMGs, mobile harbour cranes or similar heavy lifting equipment.
The role involves:
- Service, maintenance and repair of port crane equipment
- Fault finding on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and PLC/control systems
- Working on large-scale lifting equipment in live port environments
- Planned maintenance, breakdown response and inspection work
- Supporting commissioning, upgrades or refurbishment work depending on experience
- Completing service reports, technical paperwork and safety documentation
We would like to speak with candidates from backgrounds such as:
- Port Crane Engineer
- Harbour Crane Engineer
- Crane Service Engineer
- STS Crane Engineer
- RTG / RMG Engineer
- Mobile Harbour Crane Engineer
- Heavy Plant Engineer with port experience
- Marine Crane Engineer
- Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer from a port environment
Experience with equipment such as STS cranes, RTGs, RMGs, harbour mobile cranes, ship unloaders, Gottwald, Liebherr, Konecranes, Kalmar, ZPMC or similar heavy lifting equipment would be highly relevant.
