We are recruiting a Mobile Crane Engineer for a well-established Crane OEM, supporting customers across the South of England.
This role would suit an experienced engineer from mobile cranes, heavy plant, HGV, access equipment, agricultural machinery or similar heavy equipment, who is looking to move into the crane sector with full OEM backing and structured training.
The Role
- Service, maintenance, fault finding and repair of mobile cranes
- Planned maintenance and breakdown response
- Accurate job reporting using company systems
- Working independently within a defined travel patch
- Representing the OEM professionally on customer sites
Location & Travel
- Based from Southampton
- South of England coverage within a 2.5 hour patch
- Occasional UK-wide travel when required
- 37.5 hour working week
Package
- On Target Earnings £65,000 to £70,000

What We’re Looking For
- Background in mobile cranes, heavy plant, HGVs, access equipment, agricultural or similar machinery
- Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault-finding skills
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Plant, Heavy Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical disciplines
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable working in a field-based role with customer interaction
- Previous crane experience is beneficial but not essential. Engineers with strong transferable skills from heavy equipment environments are actively encouraged to apply.
