We are recruiting Overhead Crane Engineers for several established Crane OEM manufacturers, supporting customers across multiple UK locations. These roles are field-based and suit engineers with experience in overhead cranes or transferable skills from heavy electrical or mechanical engineering environments. Positions are available in multiple regions, with travel patches defined around engineer home locations.
The Role
- Service, maintenance and breakdown support on overhead and gantry cranes
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding
- Inspection, testing and commissioning work where required
- Working safely on customer sites in industrial environments
- Completing service reports and documentation accurately
Locations & Travel
- Roles available in multiple UK locations
- Travel patches typically built around home location
- Some regional and occasional wider travel depending on area and workload
- Standard working week with overtime available

What We’re Looking For
- Experience working on overhead cranes, gantry cranes, lifting equipment or industrial machinery
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills essential
- Mechanical experience beneficial
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related disciplines
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable working at height and in industrial environments
