We are seeking several experienced Field Service Engineer to join their growing team. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record in servicing and maintaining crane equipment- such as mobile, crawler, STS, mobile harbour, RTG or offshore cranes, ensuring optimal performance and reliability in various construction and industrial settings.
Responsibilities:
- routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, implementing timely and effective solutions.
- thorough examinations of components, to identify potential defects or deficiencies.
- with internal teams and external stakeholders to schedule and execute service activities, minimizing downtime and maximizing crane uptime.
- technical guidance and support to customers and onsite personnel, ensuring proper operation and maintenance practices.
- accurate records of service activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment documentation.
Qualifications:
- of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Engineering discipline.
- experience working with crane equipment in a field service capacity.
- knowledge of heavy equipment/mining systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
- diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
- communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients and team members effectively.
- driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
