Tower Crane Electrical Engineers

Multiple UK Locations | Major Infrastructure & Nuclear Projects

Realistic Earnings £100k+

Human Engineering is recruiting electrically biased Tower Crane Engineers to support major UK infrastructure and nuclear projects. These roles are with a global OEM in the tower crane sector , offering long term work across some of the country’s most significant engineering sites.

Engineers will be involved in the installation, commissioning, servicing and fault finding of tower cranes on large scale construction projects including nuclear facilities such as Sellafield, Hinkley Point and Sizewell .

Due to the nature of these projects, engineers should expect to be working away from home approximately 70% of the time . Project requirements may also involve 12-hour shifts and weekend work , which is typical when supporting major infrastructure and nuclear programmes.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced crane engineers who want to work on technically demanding projects while earning strong overtime and site allowances.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical fault finding and diagnostics on tower crane systems

• Commissioning and testing of tower cranes on major construction projects

• Planned maintenance and breakdown support

• Working safely on high profile infrastructure and nuclear sites

• Supporting crane erection and dismantling activities where required

• Liaising with site teams and supervisors to ensure safe operations

Requirements

• Experience working on tower cranes or similar heavy lifting equipment

• Strong electrical fault finding skills

• Willingness to travel and work away from home for extended periods

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and weekends when required by project schedules

• Supervisor or Appointed Person tickets would be advantageous

• Must be UK based and able to pass nuclear site security clearance
