We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to develop aftermarket crane services across the Midlands and wider surrounding area. This role is focused on selling service, maintenance and upgrade solutions within the overhead crane sector. You will be working with existing and new customers to identify opportunities for planned maintenance contracts, repairs, refurbishments, modernisation projects and equipment upgrades.

The role:
- You will be responsible for developing aftermarket sales across your territory, building relationships with customers and identifying opportunities to provide maintenance, service and upgrade solutions.
- The position will involve a mixture of account management, new business development, site visits, customer meetings, quotations and working closely with engineering teams to ensure customers receive the right technical solution.
Key responsibilities:
- Selling planned maintenance contracts for overhead cranes and lifting equipment
- Identifying opportunities for crane upgrades, modernisations and refurbishments
- Developing new business across the Midlands and wider surrounding areas
- Managing and growing existing customer accounts
- Visiting customer sites to understand requirements and build relationships
- Preparing quotations and following up on sales opportunities
- Working closely with service, engineering and operations teams
- Building a strong pipeline of aftermarket crane service opportunities
- Representing the business professionally with end users across industrial sectors
The ideal candidate:
- Experience selling crane services, lifting equipment services, maintenance contracts or industrial engineering services
- Good understanding of overhead cranes, gantry cranes, hoists or lifting equipment
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify aftermarket opportunities
- Comfortable dealing with engineering, maintenance and operations contacts
- Proven ability to manage accounts and develop new business
- Based within the Midlands or within a sensible travelling distance
- Full UK driving licence
- Candidates from overhead cranes, lifting equipment, industrial doors, powered access, materials handling, mechanical handling, industrial maintenance or engineering service sales backgrounds will be considered.
