We are seeking a skilled and experienced Port Crane Engineer to join a dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in servicing and maintaining RTGs, STS, mobile harbour and RMG cranes, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Responsibilities of a Crane Engineer:
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on RTGs, STS, mobile harbour and RMG cranes around the local area and nationally to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical or hydraulic issues, implementing timely and effective solutions.
- Perform upgrades, modifications, and installations as required to enhance crane performance and functionality.
- Collaborate with internal teams, other Crane Engineers and external stakeholders to coordinate service activities and minimise downtime.
- Provide technical support and training to customers and onsite personnel to optimise crane operation and maintenance practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment records.
