Human Engineering is recruiting for an experienced Plant Engineer to cover Devon, Cornwall and the surrounding area. This role would suit an engineer with experience working on construction plant, agricultural machinery, quarry equipment, HGVs, heavy mobile equipment or similar diesel and hydraulic machinery. This is a field-based position with a stable engineering business, offering varied work, overtime and the chance to build a long-term career in a specialist sector.
The role will involve:
- Service, maintenance and repair of mobile plant and mechanical equipment
- Fault finding on diesel engines, hydraulic systems and electrics
- Attending customer sites across Devon and Cornwall
- Carrying out breakdown repairs and routine servicing
- Completing service records, job cards and inspection paperwork
