Human Engineering is recruiting a Commercial Contracts Manager for an established UK engineering and capital equipment manufacturer. This is a senior, business-facing role with responsibility for the contractual lifecycle of complex engineered projects. You will work across Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance and Project Delivery, helping the business secure profitable contracts while controlling legal, commercial and operational risk. The position combines contract negotiation, bid support, commercial risk management, project governance, claims management and early dispute resolution. Key responsibilities * Review, draft and negotiate customer, supplier and subcontractor agreements. * Support bids and tenders by developing competitive and commercially sustainable positions. * Maintain standard terms of sale, contract templates, fallback positions and negotiation guidance. * Review NDAs, reliance letters and other early-stage agreements. * Assess risks involving liability, indemnities, warranties, liquidated damages, insurance and performance security. * Support project reviews and ensure teams understand contractual obligations, milestones and risk positions. * Manage notices, claims, variations, delays, subcontractor matters and early-stage disputes. * Advise senior management on contractual rights, remedies, governing law, termination and settlement options. * Manage requirements involving...
