Human Engineering is recruiting for an experienced Heavy Plant Engineer to work on specialist mobile equipment across the Bristol and South West area. This is a strong opportunity for an engineer with experience working on heavy plant, mobile machinery, quarry equipment, recycling equipment, construction machinery or similar mechanical and hydraulic equipment. The role would suit someone who enjoys fault finding, site work and working on larger equipment where strong mechanical, diesel and hydraulic knowledge is valued.

The role will involve:

  • Service, maintenance and repair of heavy mobile equipment
  • Fault finding on hydraulic, mechanical, diesel and electrical systems
  • Attending customer sites across the local region
  • Carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs
  • Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently
  • Completing service reports and job paperwork
