We are working with a world-class SaaS organisation embarking on a truly monumental £30 million greenfield transformation programme across the UK and Europe. This is an opportunity to join at the very start – building, shaping, and scaling a next-generation public cloud platform that will underpin the future of the business.
As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering secure, scalable, high-performance cloud infrastructure using AWS. You’ll help architect and implement best-in-class platform solutions while championing automation, cost optimisation, and resilience. This isn’t about maintaining what’s already there. It’s about standing up something new – something built to last.

You’ll bring:
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, VPC, etc.)
- Strong infrastructure-as-code skills (Terraform ideally)
- Experience building secure, automated, resilient cloud platforms at scale
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Linux systems, and container technologies
- A mindset of continuous improvement, and a passion for doing things the right way
- Strong collaboration skills – able to work closely with architects, developers, and product teams
Desirable:
- AWS certifications
- Experience in environments where performance, scale, and uptime matter
- Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and cost optimisation tools
