Reporting directly to the Director of Infrastructure, this is a pivotal number two role. It offers a rare chance to take the reins on strategic service delivery, team leadership, and end-to-end performance of critical technology services across a national, multi-site environment. The Role As Head Of Service Delivery, You Will Act as a key strategic leader and deputy to the Director of Infrastructure Lead high-performing teams across IT Service Desk, End User Computing, Incident/Problem/Change Management, and Service Transition Drive excellence in service performance, customer satisfaction, and operational resilience Play a leading role in enterprise-level change, continuous improvement, and transformation projects Own the service management vision and strategy, underpinned by ITIL and ISO best practices Build strong stakeholder relationships at all levels, including executive leadership Location & Flexibility Base: Manchester Working pattern: Hybrid just 1 day per week onsite Whats On Offer Salary: £80,000 Car Allowance Bonus: 15%30% performance-related Career path: Work closely with the Director in a succession-capable role for future growth Environment: Agile, inclusive, innovation-focused, and built on collaboration Who We\’re Looking For Youre likely an experienced IT Service Delivery Leader, Head of IT Operations, or similar. Youve operated at a senior level and are ready to take the next step into a broader strategic leadership role. You Bring A strong background in leading service delivery teams and IT operations across complex environments Excellent understanding of ITIL, incident and problem management, service design and continuous improvement A natural leadership style, with the ability to develop teams, manage stakeholders, and inspire confidence at all levels Experience working with SLAs, third-party vendors, ISO frameworks, and large-scale tech estates Why wait?
