Due to growth, we are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Oxford team. You'll join a diverse team, a real mixture of seasoned pros and hungry up and coming engineers that are using AI and automation to improve the design process. Projects range from research labs, decarbonisation of listed buildings, high end restaurants, to major upgrades to various buildings at the University of Oxford. You'll get the variety and autonomy that actually sharpens your skills as an engineer and encourages you to come up with new solutions to tackle existing problems.
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll be hands-on. You'll own the HVAC design from Stage 2 to 4 (and occasionally 5), producing specifications, schedules, schematics and assisting with resource planning.
Culture-wise, it's refreshingly un-corporate, no glass ceilings, monthly 1-2-1s, regular social activities and a clear path to Associate in as little as two years. They offer 25 days leave, a 9-day fortnight, summer and Christmas bonus and direct support and mentoring from the Director.

Requirements:- Currently working as a mechanical, building services design engineer in the UK.
- Currently working for a consultancy or design and build contractor.
- Able to do the basics well, ie produce HVAC design, communicate with clients and work in a team.
- Familiar with IESVe, H2X or Hevacomp and ideally Revit.
