Job Description
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – To £58K\\n\\nJoin a specialist low energy and building services consultancy where collaboration fuels creativity.\\n\\nWith a history of fast-tracking engineers and only promoting from within; they encourage continuous learning, teamwork, and out of the box thinking.\\n\\nTheir unique structured training and development program creates inquisitive engineers. Engineers that understand how buildings operate; engineers that can bridge the gap between architecture, MEP design, Energy and Environmental Engineering.\\n\\nWith a reputation for quality or energy efficiency; most of their projects win awards from RIBA, CIBSE or the Carbon Trust.\\n\\nEstablished by a former Buro Happold director, they currently employ 18 MEP Design Engineers from their London studio. It's a close knit team who all work together to solve complex engieering problems together; and have a lot of fun along the way.
\\n\\nDue to growth, they are now looking for an additional Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for their London studio. Someone that enjoys HVAC design and enjoys producing unique solutions on every project.\\n\\nSomeone who enjoys leading projects from concept through detail; and using cutting edge engineering software to analyse how buildings actually perform in use.\\n\\nYou'll be involved in new build and refurbishment projects across the education, entertainment, commercial, leisure, cultural, mixed use, and luxury residential sectors.\\n\\nAll the Directors remain hands on and allow their Seniors to get involved in resourcing, fee bids, marketing, and the tendering process. This role is likely to appeal to a Senior Mechanical Engineer looking for more autonomy, clear progression, and support to become a CEng.\\n\\nRequirements\\n\\nDegree qualified in Mechanical, Building Services, Environmental Design or Architectural Engineering.\\nGood all-round knowledge of mechanical, electrical, public health, lighting and BMS.\\nDigitally savvy with a range of tools such as Revit MEP, IESVe and Navisworks.\\nPassion for low or zero carbon building services design
