Due to growth, an innovative building services consultancy is seeking an additional Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to help lead the charge in sustainable building services design. You will join a friendly and stable team of MEP Engineers, who prioritise environmental engineering, architecture, and BIM to integrate sustainability from the earliest stages of every project. As a Principal Engineer, you will collaborate with high-profile architects on a range of fascinating projects, including iconic grade II Listed Buildings, carbon-negative mixed-use developments, art galleries, museums, and high-spec commercial offices. Your Role:
As a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving true net-zero carbon design across projects. You will be hands-on in the design process, managing resources and fees, and mentoring junior engineers. You will be the primary point of contact with external teams and clients, collaborating closely, and reporting directly to the MEP Director, a friendly and supportive leader with a wealth of experience gained from working at prestigious practices.

Requirements:
- Degree qualified and at least six years of experience as a consulting, mechanical (HVAC) design engineer.
