As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll be involved in a range of commercial offices, listed buildings, universities and hospitals. You’ll join a stable team and have direct access to the Chartered Mechanical Director, three Mechanical Associates (most of whom are also Chartered) and support from a team of Engineers, Intermediates and Juniors / Trainees.

You’ll benefit from ongoing training and development and have a clear path to Associate in as little as two to three years as they only promote from within. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll be involved in the design, specification, and supervision of mechanical building services (HVAC). You’ll work directly with end user clients and be seen as a trusted partner throughout all stages of their buildings' lifecycle, from feasibility, concept design, construction, post occupancy and ongoing maintenance and operation. This will ensure you become a well-rounded engineer that understands not just the commercial drivers behind property investment and construction, but how a building is designed, operates, and is maintained.

Requirements:
  • At least four (4) years’ experience in HVAC Design, within a consultancy or design and build contractor.
  • Prepared to work from the office three (3) days a week.
  • Comfortable leading projects and mentoring less experienced Engineers.
