This is an opportunity to join the Finance team as an interim Senior Finance Project Manager. Reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering, you will support the identification, prioritisation and delivery of key finance transformation initiatives – with a focus on driving process improvement, embedding automation and enhancing the effectiveness of finance operations.
This is a high-visibility role with the ability to shape how the finance function operates and adds value. The breadth of the work offers exposure to a wide range of challenges, with significant opportunity for impact and personal development, alongside flexible support to the wider Finance Business Partnering team on complex operational and commercial challenges.
You will join a Finance Business Partnering team of eight – five Senior Finance Business Partners (two based overseas), a Finance Reporting Analyst, a Procurement Manager and the Head of Finance Business Partnering. The wider Finance function is based in London with colleagues and business partners located across several international locations.
What you will be doing:
- Designing and delivering finance transformation initiatives that improve efficiency and enable scalable ways of working.
- Supporting the implementation and embedding of workforce planning and related data tools.
- Stepping into complex or ambiguous challenges – diagnosing root causes, developing practical solutions and driving execution through to completion.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline and automate finance processes, including month-end, forecasting and reporting.
- Working collaboratively with business partners and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Enhancing core finance processes with the wider Finance team to improve accuracy, consistency and quality of outputs.
- Supporting adoption of new tools and processes through training and guidance.
- Providing flexible support to the team as a trusted partner in navigating day-to-day challenges.
About you:
You are a delivery-focused finance professional who is confident working through ambiguity, shaping structured solutions and taking initiatives from concept through to completion. You bring experience across finance transformation, process improvement and project delivery, with a strong understanding of core finance processes and the ability to work both strategically and hands-on. You are comfortable engaging senior stakeholders, influencing outcomes and exploring how data, systems and automation can improve the way finance operates. Experience with Workday is an advantage.
