Group Technical Reporting Accountant Shape how a global consumer brand reports to the world A well-known global consumer brand is looking for a Group Technical Reporting Accountant to sit at the heart of its Group Finance team.
This is a high-profile, high-impact role for an ACA-qualified technical specialist who wants ownership, visibility with senior stakeholders, and the chance to raise the bar on how a listed group tells its financial story.
You'll report to the Head of Group Reporting and work closely with talented people across the business β from Regional Finance teams to Investor Relations and the Audit Committee.
What you'll do Reporting into the Head of Group Reporting, you will: Own the Group's external reporting process β delivering half-year and full-year consolidated financial statements and the Annual Report Accounts, fully in line with IFRS.
Lead technical accounting across complex areas including impairments, IFRS 16, IFRS 2, foreign currency and segmental reporting β preparing clear, credible papers for senior stakeholders, the Audit Committee and auditors.
Manage the audit end-to-end β coordinating deliverables, resolving technical queries and ensuring timely statutory reporting.
Drive reporting excellence β enhancing controls, automation and efficiency, and partnering with Regional Finance teams to secure high-quality, IFRS-compliant submissions.
Support Investor Relations and strategic finance initiatives, while coaching and developing colleagues to strengthen capability across Group Reporting.
What we're looking for ACA qualified with post-qualified experience in large organisations β ideally listed group reporting and/or a Big 4 audit background.
Deep IFRS expertise, including strong consolidation and disclosure knowledge and the ability to interpret and apply new standards.
Strong audit and governance experience, including managing external audits and preparing technical papers for senior stakeholders.
Proven leadership and influencing skills β able to coach others and partner effectively across global finance and non-finance teams.
Highly analytical, with strong systems and data capability and a genuine continuous-improvement mindset.
