As Operations Manager, responsible for operational oversight of the office’s daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning of all procurement and Administration functions, as well as day-to-day security management to create a well-functioning working environment for HA.

Key duties and responsibilities of the Operations Manager:
Supply Chain:
- Update and contextualize Human Appeal’s standards for assets/equipment to be purchased, as required.
- Oversee warehouse by Ensuring warehouse and stocks are secure, well managed and documented, and ensuring assets and property are effectively managed, asset list is updated regularly and assets are disposed of according to and/or donor regulations.
- Ensure donor reports for assets are completed and submitted on time to the Finance/ Programmes and other departments as appropriate.
Office Administration:
- Lead and coordinate on the planning and implementation of activities by all support departments on the national level, and Review monthly Operations’ reports and provide feedback to all operations staff, and other key staff as needed to monitor performances of operation department.
- Work with the programmes team and other departments to understand and define roles and Conduct operational workshops regularly/depending on the program needs to ensure unison with the Operations (support services) team.
Security:
- Develop security strategies within the Acceptance, Protection and Deterrence frameworks, country security plan, evacuation plan, and provide staff training relating to security issues and evacuation, and Adhere to stated policies and procedures as per the company handbook, health and safety requirements Investor in People standard and Quality management system to keep work place safe.
What we’re looking for in our Operations Manager:
- Education - University Degree or professional certification in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related field.
- Experience - At least 5 years of successful Administrative experience at Officer level, ideally with INGO.
- Essential Criteria - MS Office Suite. English Langauge.
- Desirable Criteria - Arabic Language
