Here at Human Appeal UK we have an exciting opportunity for a Fundraising Coordinator to join our team. You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial 1-year term. In return, you will receive a competitive salary.
Human Appeal is a faith-based charity that aims to abolish poverty by providing humanitarian aid, sustainable development programs and championing advocacy for our beneficiaries worldwide.
As Fundraising Coordinator, the successful candidate will be able to:
- Develop, coordinate, manage and deliver a range of regional fundraising campaigns by working closely with the Head of Fundraising to strategically lead and coordinate regional fundraising activities.
- Ensure that all available opportunities for raising funds for Human Appeal are successfully exploited and maintained at agreed levels of return on investment.
- Develop new innovative fundraising opportunities to build awareness of Human Appeal projects and increase income generation/donations year on year.
- Secure the long-term financial sustainability and growth of the charity in line with the fundraising strategy.

Key duties and responsibilities of the Fundraising Coordinator:
- Contribute towards and implement the annual fundraising strategy for regional fundraising activities.
- Take responsibility to coordinate and expand the current fundraising programme to meet and exceed agreed targets.
- Achieve donation income growth, donor growth (Year-Over-Year) and meet annual income targets.
- Successfully develop a strong fundraising portfolio to lead and support in-house fundraising teams during events.
- Ensure regional fundraising events are well supported, run effectively, and deliver quality assurance in line with Health & Safety, customer satisfaction, complaints management, and Fundraising Regulators code of conduct.
What we’re looking for in a Fundraising Coordinator:
Education:- Ideally educated to degree level.
- Minimum GCSEs in Maths and English.
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar post.
- Proven track record of project and events management.
- MS Office Suite.
- Competent user of social media.
- Experience using donor management systems, Salesforce, is desirable.
- Fluent English is essential.
- Additional languages such as Arabic and Urdu are desirable.
