Here at Human Appeal UK, we have an exciting opportunity for an Emerging Market Manager to join our team based in our Cheadle Office. The role requires you to be in the office. You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial 1-year fixed-term contract. In return, you will receive a competitive salary. Human Appeal is a faith-based charity that aims to abolish poverty by providing humanitarian aid, sustainable development programs, and championing advocacy for our beneficiaries worldwide.
As an Emerging Market Manager, the successful candidate will ensure the growth of Human Appeal into new geographical areas, establish and nurture new fundraising offices and relationships, and effectively manage and coordinate fundraising activities and communications flows between Head Office and overseas fundraising operations.

Key duties and responsibilities of the Emerging Market Manager:
- Follow the strategy set by the director and implement action plan, in line with the organizational Strategic Key Priorities.
- Identify and pursue fundraising opportunities in emerging markets.
- Prepare and present business cases/feasibility studies/risk analyses for new offices.
- Manage the establishment and capacity building of new fundraising operations.
- Ensure effective planning and monitoring of new fundraising offices.
What weβre looking for in Emerging Market Manager:
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the charity sector and fundraising
- Graduate level qualifications in management or related discipline
- Computer literate and competent with Microsoft products
- Very good spoken and written English, Arabic, and at least one other European language (e.g., French, Spanish)
