Overview
As Programme Officer, the successful candidate will coordinate and support the delivery of Seasonal and Special Request Programmes, ensuring donor‑funded requests and seasonal campaigns are planned, monitored, documented and reported accurately and on time.
The role serves as a key operational link between donors, internal departments, field offices and implementing partners, supporting end‑to‑end programme administration, issue resolution, reporting, data management and continuous improvement across the Seasonal & Special Request portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Successfully coordinate, monitor and support the delivery of all Seasonal & Special Request Programmes in line with agreed plans, budgets, donor requirements and internal procedures.
- Ensure special project requests, including donor‑funded community and infrastructure projects, progress from instruction through to completion and final donor reporting.
- Track programme milestones, report completion dates, risks, delays and outstanding actions, escalating issues promptly where required.
- Maintain accurate programme records, donor information, financial tracking data, Share Point folders, dashboards and issue logs.
- Coordinate effectively with donors, Donor Care, Fundraising, Finance, Field Offices and implementing partners to ensure timely responses and high‑quality feedback reports.
- Provide regular qualitative and quantitative analysis to support performance review, lessons learned and continuous improvement.
- Support the Seasonal & Special Request Team with administrative, reporting and coordination duties during peak seasonal campaign periods.
Qualifications
- Degree‑educated or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as International Development, Project/Programme Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences or a related discipline.
- Desirable: qualification or training in project management, monitoring and evaluation, humanitarian programming or donor reporting.
- Experience in programme coordination, project administration, donor care, reporting, logistics, fundraising support or a role requiring strong organisational and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Experience of working with multiple stakeholders, tracking actions and producing accurate reports.
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Strong working knowledge of Excel for trackers, dashboards, reconciliations and basic analysis.
- Experience using Share Point, CRM or donor/project management systems is desirable.
- Fluent written and spoken English is essential; additional languages (Arabic, Urdu or French) are desirable for donor and field‑office communication.
