Here at Human Appeal we have an exciting opportunity for an OCW Reporting Admin to join our team based in Cheadle, Greater Manchester. You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial 1-year fixed term contract with a view to progressing into a permanent role. In return, you will receive a market competitive salary depending on experience.

Human Appeal is a faith-based charity that aims to abolish poverty by providing humanitarian aid, sustainable development programs and championing advocacy for our beneficiaries worldwide.

As OCW Reporting Admin, the successful candidate will play an integral role in assisting the Orphans Manager in the implementation and administration of Human Appeal’s orphan sponsorship programme. This includes streamlining all sponsorship custom-related systems and reporting such as Salesforce and the unique Orphans Online Portal, maintaining up-to-date documentation and close communication with Field and Local Partner offices, working closely with other internal desks such as the Communications and Donor Care departments, as well as providing operational support to the Orphans Manager. This is all in order to enhance donor engagement to improve acquisition and retention of donors and ultimately maximise income and increase beneficiary outreach.

Key duties and responsibilities of the OCW Reporting Admin:

  • Maintenance and administration of the Orphans Sponsorship Programme, including accurate data collection, record-keeping and reporting
  • Maintaining regular and strong communication channels with Human Appeal Field Offices, Local Partners and internal departments including Communications, Donor Care, Finance and Fundraising to ensure the promotion and smooth running of the Orphan Sponsorship Programme
  • Providing general assistance to the Orphans Manager and to the wider Programmes department, including technical expertise and reporting on child welfare projects
  • Achieving year on year increases in the acquisition and retention of donors to the Orphans Sponsorship Programme

What we’re looking for in our OCW Reporting Admin:

  • Education: Minimum GCSE A-C in Maths and English. Ideally a graduate in a related field, e.g. International Development
  • Experience: Experience working in a support role in an office environment
  • Skills: MS Office suite & Salesforce
  • Languages: Fluent English is essential. Additional languages, e.g. Arabic, Urdu are desirable
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about the international development sector
