Position Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Creative Multimedia Producer position within the Communications Support department based at Cheadle, Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing engaging and high‑quality multimedia content, from initial concept and scriptwriting through to filming, editing, motion graphics and final delivery. The role requires a versatile content creator who can manage the end‑to‑end production process and deliver compelling visual stories across digital platforms, social media and fundraising campaigns.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop and produce engaging video content for social media, digital campaigns and other communication channels.
  • Write compelling scripts and develop creative concepts aligned with campaign objectives.
  • Film and edit high‑quality video content, including interviews, documentaries, promotional videos and social media content.
  • Create motion graphics, animations and visual effects to enhance video storytelling.
  • Record and edit voice‑overs when required.
  • Manage the full video production process, from pre‑production and filming to post‑production and final delivery.
  • Adapt content into different formats and aspect ratios for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube.
  • Ensure all multimedia content meets Human Appeal's brand guidelines, editorial standards and quality requirements.
  • Work closely with the creative, digital and communications teams to deliver projects within agreed deadlines.
  • Organise and maintain video assets, project files and multimedia resources.

NB: Employee duties are not limited only to the above‑mentioned responsibilities; they may perform other duties as assigned.

Candidate essential criteria

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant field
  • Proven professional experience in multimedia production, video editing or a similar creative role.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and other relevant Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
  • Experience in filming, lighting, audio recording and video production techniques.
  • Strong scriptwriting and visual storytelling skills.
  • Ability to create professional motion graphics and animations.
  • Experience producing content optimised for social media and digital platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a fast‑paced creative environment.

Candidate desirable criteria

  • Experience producing content for charities, humanitarian organisations or fundraising campaigns.
  • Experience in documentary‑style storytelling and interview‑based production.
  • Knowledge of photography, colour grading and audio post‑production.
  • Familiarity with AI‑assisted creative and multimedia production tools.
