HUM2N is seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused Functional / Longevity Medicine Doctor (MD) with experience or interest in aesthetics. This role is ideal for a doctor seeking experience and mentorship, focusing on delivering longevity therapies such as IV drips, ozone, and EBOO, alongside aesthetic treatments. The right candidate is passionate about hormone health, regenerative medicine, and lifestyle optimisation, while also being open to training in advanced injectables and aesthetic procedures.
Reporting Structure
- Reports to: Chief Medical Officer
- Collaborates with: Doctors, Nurses, Aesthetic Practitioners, and Clinic Management Team
Schedule
- Full-time position with a flexible schedule or Part Time option
- May include occasional weekends and rare evening hours (with advance notice)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive functional and longevity medicine services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care
- Deliver longevity therapies (e.g., IV drips, ozone, EBOO) and aesthetic treatments
- Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and recommend supplements as appropriate
- Perform advanced aesthetic procedures with precision and artistry
- Document all clinical services accurately and promptly in the EMR
- Educate patients on health behaviours, treatment options, and wellness strategies
- Maintain compliance with national and state medical guidelines and safety protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement, strategic planning, and MDT Meetings
- Support brand development through occasional participation in social media and practice-building activities
Administration
- To maintain accurate, comprehensive records of all consultations, treatments and investigations in the patient’s notes, both written and computerised
- Ensure accurate completion of all necessary documentation associated with patient care
- Maintain effective diary management, informing staff of any changes in the patient pathway
- Following company policies in regards to patient confidentiality and secure emails
- In participation with colleagues ensure the maintenance of all equipment is in date and used accordingly, following any infection control guidelines
- Always ensure compliance with patient confidentiality, in line with current legislation
Qualifications
- GMC registered
- MBBS (or equivalent) with an active, unrestricted medical license
- Functional Medicine qualification (minimum AFMCP by IFM or equivalent)
- Aesthetics certification
- Minimum 6 months of experience in functional medicine, longevity therapies, or aesthetics (ideal for junior doctors seeking growth)
- High aesthetic judgment and attention to detail with an artistic eye for natural results
- Exceptional communication skills and bedside manner
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Team-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to a dynamic clinical environment
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and medical coding
