The Opportunity

As a Senior Assessments & Insight Consultant, you will own a full portfolio of clients and lead on complex, high‑value assessment and insight projects. You will bring deep expertise in assessment tools, a data‑driven mindset, and stakeholder‑management skills to build trusted relationships at every level. You will play a leading role in client delivery and in shaping the quality, innovation and direction of our assessment portfolio. Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of assessment and insight projects, owning client relationships, driving quality, and contributing to the growth of our assessment practice.

Client Delivery & Consultancy

  • Own a full portfolio of clients, leading complex assessment and insight projects from start to finish
  • Design and deliver innovative assessment solutions to address client talent, leadership and performance challenges
  • Undertake diagnostic and facilitation work within client organisations
  • Act as a trusted adviser, consulting with clients on their issues and recommending the most appropriate solutions

Data, Insight & Evaluation

  • Become an expert in data analysis and evaluation, understanding and reporting data clearly for clients
  • Provide client insight and market intelligence, proactively identifying trends and opportunities
  • Identify areas to improve assessment solutions and client offerings, and bring forward recommendations

Assessment Development

  • Lead the development of assessments to measure and enhance performance across the employee lifecycle
  • Support the research, build and analysis stages of test and questionnaire development where required
  • Apply extensive knowledge of assessment tools to build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Quality, Best Practice & Organisational Contribution

  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance best practice across all client projects, sharing learnings with the wider team
  • Take on additional responsibilities beyond direct client consulting, such as improving the assessment portfolio and developing analytics capabilities
  • Support colleagues and project managers, and manage the team mailbox when additional capacity is required

Business Development

  • Own specific sales regions and support proposals, RFPs and pitches
  • Educate sales colleagues on assessment solutions and identify further opportunities within current client accounts

The Skills & Experience Required

  • A Master’s degree in Occupational Psychology (or similar)
  • Highly numerate with a keen interest in psychology and psychometrics in the workplace
  • Understanding of selection, development and test design
  • Excellent research and evaluation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to understand complex problems and present solutions clearly to clients and colleagues
  • BPS qualification in Test User Training: occupational ability tests (previously Level A) and occupational personality tests (previously Level B)
  • Experience of developing assessment methodology
  • Drive and ambition, with comfort in managing ambiguity and adapting to shifting client and business demands
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build informal authority and navigate complex internal and external relationships
  • Organised and analytical, with strong delegation and team‑building skills

Location and hybrid working

The main office is at Ashridge House. The role operates on a hybrid working model: team members are typically based at Ashridge House four days per week (Monday to Thursday), with the option to work remotely on Fridays. Regular team meetings and collaborative sessions are held at Ashridge House to maintain strong team connection, communication and engagement.
