The Neurosurgical Department provides a regional elective and acute service across both sites of the Trust. The Senior Spinal Fellow will be expected to provide neurosurgical on-call cover at registrar level on a 1 in 8-12 full shift rota at the Hull Royal Infirmary site and be actively involved in research with an opportunity to register for a higher degree. As Teaching Hospitals working with the Hull York Medical School, we both lead and contribute to research in many areas – biomedical research, primary care, palliative medicine, cardiovascular and respiratory medicine, vascular surgery, cancer surgery and oncology.
