About the Role

Join our dynamic kitchen team at the heart of a bustling student union!

We’re looking for enthusiastic Kitchen Associates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering high-quality food with speed and precision.

You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive crew committed to excellence, serving a diverse student community with fresh, delicious meals—all within 10 minutes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook and present food quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards
  • Assist in keeping the kitchen clean, hygienic and tidy, at all times
  • Keep up to date with current promotions, club nights and new products
  • Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to the manager
  • Complete all appropriate company documentation and key tasks, on every shift
  • Maintain personal knowledge by completing all training
  • Always adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Be involved and contribute at team meetings
  • Carry out instructions given by the management team
  • Reports to the Kitchen Manager
  • Direct / Indirect reports: N/A

About You

  • 5 GCSE level/equivalent – grade C and above including English and Maths.
  • No experience necessary
  • Customer service/ hospitality experience

  • Staff feeding includes a meal and a drink from a selection of the menu.
