Role Responsibilities

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers through regular visits and engagement.
  • Identify and pursue new customer opportunities through proactive outreach and visits.
  • Foster customer loyalty through ethical and value-driven visits.
  • Discover and convert new business opportunities with distributors and end-users.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with key accounts within the market.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of filtration and engine systems to effectively carry out the role.
  • Clearly communicate and demonstrate Donaldson's value proposition to customers.

Job Details

  • Travel: Up to 50%.
  • Location: Ideally Midlands based due to the proximity of customers.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales (and developing key strategic accounts).
  • Experience of working with CRM system.
  • Proficient in English (verbal and written).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong commercial awareness and business acumen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A degree in business, commercial, or technical fields is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret and create reports.
  • Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Well-organized with excellent planning, time management, and self-administration skills.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and perform under pressure.
  • Customer-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Demonstrates a results-driven approach, with strong negotiation, persuasion, and influencing abilities.
  • Open-minded and eager to learn, with the ability to acquire technical knowledge in filtration.
