The Head of Professional Regulation and Compliance is a new role within the University’s Faculty Services team for the Faculty of Health Sciences. The post holder will provide a high level of proactive leadership and oversight to the professional regulation, statutory compliance and external contractual obligations across the Faculty’s programmes in Health Sciences.

The postholder will work closely with Heads of School, the Director of Strategy and Operations, and the FHS Curriculum Manager to ensure that the Faculty of Health Sciences meets the requirements of relevant professional, statutory and regulatory bodies and external partners, including organisations such as NHS England, the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), Social Work England, British Psychological Society (BPS), General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), the Chartered Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (CASES) and Ofsted.
