Working as part of a team you will provide general administrative support for all of the activities covered by the department. This includes:

  • Enrolment
  • Student record maintenance
  • Fulfilling transcript requests
  • Maintaining student finance details
  • Supporting Faculties with the assessment periods
  • Processing student progression results
  • Providing support for graduation ceremonies

You will be required to input and maintain accurate student and course data using the student records system (SITS). You will also be required to develop and maintain specialist knowledge and understanding of course provision, design and delivery. Working with faculties, you will be responsible for the preparation of centrally managed assessments; which may include checking exam arrangements and setting up of venues.

You will also be responsible for processing results on the student record system, working with faculty colleagues to ensure accurate and up to date information is maintained. In this role, you will also be responsible for responding to enquiries via email and through an enquiry management system and providing a high level of customer service to all stakeholders. You will also be required to develop and maintain positive and professional working relationships with relevant colleagues across the institution.

Whilst the successful candidate may specialise in a particular aspect of the work of the department, they are expected to be fully conversant with all areas, following documented processes and procedures.
