As our Assistant Head, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Institute in the leadership and management of a specific subject area. The post holder will have a teaching commitment of 0.25 pro rata. They will support leadership on cross‑cutting themes such as student engagement, progress, assessment, and quality.
The Assistant Head of Department may be expected to line‑manage and/or coordinate the work of a team of staff within the department as required.
Hull College provides high‑quality education; all new staff should either be skilled or open to training.
