Hull City is looking for a Head of Academy Medical to lead high standards of care, injury prevention and rehabilitation for all its academy players.
The Role
You will lead the Academy Medical team at Hull City Academy, Bishop Burton College, working closely with doctors, physios and performance staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Academy Medical team
- Oversee injury assessment, rehabilitation and return-to-play processes
- Provide medical cover for training and fixtures, including emergency aid
- Keep accurate, confidential medical records
- Co-ordinate external medical support and specialist referrals
- Deliver injury prevention and gym or field-based rehab sessions
- Develop part-time medical staff and support EPPP audit requirements
About You
- BSc (Hons) or MSc in Physiotherapy
- ATMMiF certificate
- At least three years’ experience in a sporting environment, ideally elite sport and preferably football
- Strong planning and organisation, with attention to detail
- Willing to work unsociable hours and weekends
- Desirable: Chartered Physiotherapist

- Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 depending on experience
