Hull City Football Club are looking for an Assistant Kit Manager to join our Football Operations department.
This is a hands-on role within a professional football environment.
The successful candidate should expect to work across training facilities, changing rooms, storage areas and match venues, with working patterns determined by the Club's training and fixture schedule.
The role may involve early starts, late finishes, weekends, public holidays, matchdays, away travel and periods of increased workload during busy parts of the season.

- Your key responsibilities
- Prepare, issue, collect and organise training and match kit for players and staff.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, labelling and storage across kit rooms and equipment stores.
- Maintain accurate stock records, conduct stock checks and report shortages, damage or replacement requirements.
- Support the Kit Manager with ordering, receiving and distributing kit and equipment.
- Prepare changing rooms, training areas and equipment for training sessions and matches.
- Assist with packing, loading, unloading and transporting kit and equipment for fixtures, camps and team travel.
- Respond professionally to player and staff kit requirements, including sizing, personalisation and replacements.
- Maintain confidentiality and build positive working relationships with players and football staff.
- Support matchday operations and other football operations duties as required.

- Previous experience in a practical, equipment, warehouse, kit, sports or similar operational environment.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work to tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and matchdays.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional approach and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when working within a professional football environment.
Desirable
- Previous experience working within a professional or semi-professional football club.
- Experience working with football kit, sports equipment or team logistics.
- Knowledge of football kit and equipment requirements.
- Experience using stock control or inventory systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Previous experience supporting matchdays, training camps or team travel.
- The safeguarding and welfare of our players is paramount and as such this position is subject to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
