This is a part time 5 hour position - Monday to Friday. Grade 2 – Pro Rata Salary £3,350 per annum.
ROLE AND PURPOSE
You will provide cleaning services to a pre-determined area in accordance with specifications and safe systems of work. To maintain a clean, tidy and safe environment.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Undertake cleaning duties in accordance with safe systems of work within a work area.
- Comply with all Council Security Policies relating to the buildings within the work area.
- Adhere to Hull Building Cleanings’ procedures, work schedules and safe system of work. Report any problems to the Senior Cleaning Assistant or Area Supervisor.
- Participate in appropriate training and staff development.
- Complete relevant paperwork e.g. timesheets, annual leave forms.
- Be aware of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and associated legislation, which places responsibilities for health and safety on Hull City Council, as your employer and you as an employee of the council.
