Summary
Hull City Council are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Payroll Control & Development Assistant to join the Payroll and Pensions Team. The post is initially advertised as Fixed Term until 31st March 2026 to provide coverage for maternity leave. The post holder will undertake a range of transactional processing duties of a routine nature involving highly sensitive and confidential information. To be suitable for the post you will have the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines working quickly using own initiative and have excellent attention to detail. You will provide a wide range of office-based services. You must have the ability to communicate, clearly and effectively. A good standard of education including literacy and numeracy skills is essential and ideally you will have knowledge of Oracle EBS system and Microsoft packages gained through relevant experience.
