Position: Operational Support Assistant (Grade 3)
Are you passionate about providing excellent customer service and supporting the smooth running of a dynamic educational environment? Hull Training and Adult Education is seeking a proactive and professional Operational Support Assistant to join our dedicated team.

Responsibilities
- Safeguarding First: Promote and safeguard the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
- Reception Excellence: Deliver a courteous and efficient reception service, managing visitor sign-in/out procedures.
- Information & Guidance: Provide accurate advice to callers and visitors about our services, supporting marketing and promotional activities.
- Data & Documentation: Assist with maintaining learner and financial records, ensuring timely processing in systems such as ProSolution and ProMonitor.
- Administrative Support: Maintain effective systems and procedures to support the centre’s operations, including invoice processing, petty cash, and general admin tasks.
- Communication: Handle emails, calls, and messages promptly and professionally.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to self-assessment and quality improvement processes in line with OFSTED guidelines.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and equality
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in administrative or customer service roles
- Confidence using IT systems and databases (ProSolution/ProMonitor experience is a plus)
