Overview

As a Night Care Assistant you will be expected to form part of that child\'s world of consistent adults, tending to personal care needs, health needs and basic comforts through the night. You will be expected to support the wider team by contributing to care plans and undertaking report writing. We insist on nothing less than the right people, with the right skills and passion for our children to ensure they have positive outcomes and positive experiences.

There is a 1/3 Enhancement in addition to the salary stated for Night Work. Hours are 74 hours per month and hours will exceed 20 hours per week at times due to the rota.

Responsibilities

  • Form part of the child’s world of consistent adults and tend to personal care, health needs and basic comforts during night shifts.
  • Support the wider team by contributing to care plans and undertaking report writing.

Qualifications and Criteria

  • Some care experience is required, preferably with children.
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures and undertake necessary training and development opportunities.
