Job Opportunities
We are pleased to advertise 2 x Assistant Manager positions to support the Registered Manager in overseeing The Supporting Independence Teams’ ASC Out of Hours (OOH) provision and the HOOTs Team.
Team Responsibilities
- The OOH team handles emergency responses when most statutory and regulated services are closed, supporting emergency services to mitigate risks to vulnerable adults.
- The HOOTs team provides overnight care and support within individuals\’ homes, including personal care, medication support, and emergency responses via lifeline activation.
Role Details
The role operates between 8pm and 4am on a 7-day rota. The successful candidate will provide leadership, promote good practice, and support independence and self-directed support for individuals with long-term needs.
Key Requirements
- Lead for safeguarding vulnerable adults during out-of-hours periods, providing guidance on legislation and regulatory standards.
- Support strategic objectives and translate them into operational achievements to improve outcomes.
- Identify unmet needs, monitor service delivery, analyze performance, and implement improvements.
- Assist in workforce planning and training needs assessment, developing team plans to ensure excellence in care.
- Collaborate with managers, commissioners, and care providers to implement city strategies affecting older adults.
