Access and Inclusion Officer (Locality Based) Grade 7

Salary £32,597 to £35,412 (Actual Term Time Salary – £28,413 – £30,867).
Hull City Council is seeking a committed and proactive Access and Inclusion Officer This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity where you will play a key role in ensuring children across Hull receive an education that is suitable, safe, and aligned with the Department for Education (DfE) guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct home visits to assess the suitability of education provided outside of school, ensuring it meets statutory expectations and supports each child’s individual needs.
  • Champion inclusion and early intervention, helping remove barriers to education and ensuring children have the best opportunities to thrive.
  • Work collaboratively with families, schools, and partner agencies to promote positive outcomes for children and young people.
